Description
Maeda Koki MKCM Type represents the next level of lubrication management, moving beyond simple visual checks to active system integration. While it retains the core rheoscope function of the standard models—allowing you to confirm fluid flow by the movement of transparent floats inside the housing—its primary advantage lies in its electrical capability.
This unit is equipped with a flow detection switch. It automatically detects the presence of fluid flow and toggles the switch status (ON/OFF) based on the designated flow quantity. This feature is vital for automated machinery, allowing the system to trigger an alarm or emergency stop if lubrication flow fails. It is important to note that the switch set point is rigid and fixed; the set point cannot be changed or traced manually, ensuring tamper-proof reliability.
Durability is also a key focus of the MKCM design. It is encased in a metal protective cover, significantly reducing the possibility of damage caused by physical shocks or accidental impacts from the outside. Despite this robust armor and added functionality, it retains the series’ signature flexibility: the internal spring mechanism ensures that the installation direction does not matter. You can mount it looking up, looking down, or sideways freely without affecting the switch or visual performance.
