An M18-threaded ultrasonic sensor with a precise 300 mm (0.3-meter) sensing range. it provides a high-resolution 0–10 V analog voltage output and features a dedicated Trigger input, allowing an external controller (PLC) to dictate exactly when the sensor emits its acoustic pulse.

Description

The DMU318-300/VT-M12 is the “short-range specialist” of the synchronized family. The “VT” configuration is essential for dense machine environments where multiple ultrasonic sensors are mounted close together. By using the Synchronization/Trigger pin, the sensors can be “multiplexed” (fired in a specific sequence) to prevent one sensor from accidentally hearing the echo of another.

Using Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology, it remains immune to target color, transparency, or surface gloss. It is a superior solution for detecting clear glass vials, liquid levels in small reservoirs, or reflective metallic parts. The 0–10 V signal provides a linear representation of the distance within the calibrated window, which can be set using the onboard Teach-in button.
