Description

The DMU318-1600.W3/2VK-M12 is engineered for versatility. The “W” designation signifies the right-angle transducer, where the sound exit is directed at a 90° angle from the M18 longitudinal axis. This allows the sensor to be tucked away in narrow conveyor tunnels or low-clearance tank tops.

Using Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology, the sensor is immune to target color, transparency, or surface gloss. The “2VK” configuration provides a high-resolution 0–10 V analog signal for continuous distance tracking, while the integrated IO-Link 1.1 protocol allows for “Smart Sensor” features like remote parameterization, digital distance value streaming, and diagnostic monitoring.
