Zenner Atmos Diaphragm Gas Meter with Temperature Compensation | G-Series

Achieve precise volume measurement regardless of ambient conditions with the Atmos – diaphragm gas meter with temperature compensation. Available in models G1.6-T, G2.5-T, and G4-T, these meters are specifically engineered to address the physical expansion and contraction of gas caused by fluctuating temperatures.

Description

Gas volume is physically dependent on temperature; as temperature rises, gas expands, and as it drops, gas contracts. Standard meters may register these volume changes as actual consumption, leading to billing inaccuracies. The Atmos – diaphragm gas meter with temperature compensation solves this issue through a sophisticated mechanical correction system.

The core of this technology lies in a synthetic bi-metal mechanism with distinct thermal expansion coefficients. When the temperature of the gas flow changes, this bi-metal component reacts by triggering a precise deformation or bending action. This physical change alters the length of the crank, which in turn adjusts the movement stroke of the diaphragm.

By modifying the cyclic volume in response to thermal shifts, the special design actively counteracts the volume differences caused by thermal expansion and contraction. The result is a meter that mechanically corrects the flow reading, ensuring that the volume registered is accurate and fair, regardless of whether it is freezing winter or hot summer.

Zenner

ZENNER gas meters impress by the solid processing of high-quality materials combined with a large number of technical details. In the manufacturing process we purely use materials of the highest quality that meet the requirements for product lifetime, security and technical precision.

For example, the housing of our diaphragm gas meters are made of high quality steel or aluminum. The raw material of the essential parts are imported from Europe.

In addition we purely use tested component connections to guarantee that the meters are solid, safe and leakproof. The corrosion resistance is ensured by the use of galvanized steel and die-casting aluminum. In addition to meters are mainly used in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
