Description
Neodyn 117P NEMA 7 and 9 Sanitary Switches bridge the gap between strict sanitary requirements and robust industrial safety standards. It provides a specialized solution for processes that require both sterile connections and protection against explosive atmospheres.
Hygienic Design & Construction Constructed from high-quality 316 stainless steel, the 117P is built to withstand rigorous cleaning protocols. It features a wetted material surface polish of 9 – 11 micro inch Ra (0.23 – 0.28 micron Ra), preventing bacterial buildup and ensuring product purity. The 1 1/2″ sanitary fitting is designed to mate perfectly with standard Tri-Clamp® systems, facilitating easy installation and disassembly for maintenance.
Precision and Stability Process control in sanitary lines relies on accuracy. The 117P utilizes the Nega-Rate® Belleville disc spring mechanism, which eliminates set point drift and provides superior resistance to system vibration. This ensures consistent switching performance even in dynamic flow conditions.
Hazardous Location Safety Beyond its sanitary capabilities, this unit is designed for safety in volatile environments. It incorporates an explosion-proof and hermetically sealed electrical assembly, making it suitable for hazardous locations classified under NEMA 7 and 9 standards.
