Description
Maeda Koki MKCT Type is designed to bridge the gap between simple flow verification and durable process monitoring. While standard flow sights might be vulnerable to impact, and basic models only indicate if fluid is moving, the MKCT offers a comprehensive solution.
Visual Flow Measurement The core of the MKCT’s functionality is its “Taper” design. It houses a transparent taper pipe containing a ball (or float) and a distinct indication red line. As the oil flow rate changes, the internal float moves up or down the tapered section. By observing the position of the float relative to the red line, operators can confirm the approximate flow quantity at a glance, rather than just knowing whether the oil is flowing or not.
Robust Protection To ensure longevity in heavy manufacturing zones, the unit is encased in a metal protective cover. This external shield reduces the possibility of damage caused by accidental tools, flying debris, or physical shocks from the outside. It is the ideal choice for exposed piping on heavy machinery where standard glass indicators would be a safety risk.
Flexible Installation Despite its rugged build and measurement features, the MKCT retains the series’ signature installation flexibility. An internal spring mechanism stabilizes the float, meaning the installation direction does not matter. The unit can be mounted vertically (looking up or down) or horizontally (sideways) without affecting the accuracy of the flow indication.
