Description

The DMU418B-400.X3/LTV-M12 is the “short-range specialist” of the 418B family. The “X3” designation indicates a standard straight-beam orientation, while the “LTV” suffix identifies its dual-function output: a linear 0–10 V signal for continuous tracking and a digital switching signal.

Because it utilizes sound waves rather than light, this sensor is immune to “optical traps” like clear plastic, glass, or high-gloss metal parts. The integrated IO-Link protocol allows the sensor to stream real-time digital distance values directly to a PLC while simultaneously providing the analog voltage signal for legacy control systems.
