Description

The DMU418B-400.X3/LTC-M12 is the “short-range specialist” of the 418B family. The “X3” designation indicates a standard straight-beam orientation, while the “LTC” suffix identifies its current-based output capabilities.

The 4–20 mA analog signal is the industrial gold standard for reliability; unlike voltage signals, it is highly resistant to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and signal loss over long cable runs. With IO-Link onboard, you can simultaneously extract digital distance values and monitor “Signal Quality” to predict maintenance needs before a failure occurs.
