Description
The DMU330-3500.3/4VK-M12 utilizes advanced Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology, emitting high-frequency ultrasonic pulses and calculating the micro-interval required for the echo to return from a target. Because the measurement relies on sound waves rather than light, the sensor is completely immune to the optical properties of the target—making it the ideal solution for detecting transparent glass, clear liquids, highly reflective metal surfaces, or dark, light-absorbing plastics.
The “4VK” configuration is particularly versatile; it provides a high-resolution 0–10 V analog signal for real-time distance tracking, while the integrated IO-Link 1.1 protocol allows for remote parameter setting (teaching), streaming of digital distance values, and “Smart Sensor” health monitoring to predict maintenance needs before a failure occurs.
