Description
The DMU318-1600.W3/4CK-M12 is engineered for applications where a standard “straight-ahead” sensor cannot fit due to mechanical interference. The “W” designation signifies the right-angle optics, where the sound exit is directed 90° away from the longitudinal axis of the M18 body.
Using Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology, the sensor is immune to target color, transparency, or gloss. It is a preferred solution for level monitoring in small tanks with low overhead clearance or for detecting objects on high-speed conveyor lines where the sensor must be tucked away. The “4CK” configuration provides a stable 4–20 mA current loop for continuous distance measurement and a PNP digital output for limit detection, both of which can be calibrated using the onboard teach button for high-precision windows.
