Description

The DMU318-1600.3/2CK-M12 utilizes Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology, emitting a high-frequency acoustic pulse and measuring the precise micro-interval required for the echo to bounce off a target and return. Because it relies on sound rather than light, it is a superior choice for detecting “difficult” targets such as clear glass, liquid levels, dark plastics, or metallic foils.

The “2CK” configuration is designed for modern automation; it features a high-speed Push-Pull switching output that can be wired as either PNP or NPN. Additionally, the integrated IO-Link 1.1 protocol allows for “Smart Sensor” capabilities, including the streaming of real-time digital distance values and remote teaching of switching windows via a PLC, which is ideal for machines with frequent product changeovers.
