Description

The Kofloc 2420 SERIES Grease-less Needle Valve was developed for applications where fluid purity is the absolute priority. In standard valves, lubricants are often used on mechanical parts to ensure smooth operation; however, these lubricants can evaporate or leach into the gas stream (outgassing), potentially damaging sensitive sensors or posing a fire hazard in pure oxygen systems. The 2420 series overcomes these challenges by using self-lubricating materials and a proprietary cleaning process during manufacturing. This grease-less design ensures that no oil residue comes into contact with the flow media. Beyond its cleanliness, this valve maintains Kofloc’s signature excellence in providing smooth and stable micro-flow control. Built with a corrosion-resistant Stainless Steel body, the 2420 series offers long-term reliability without compromising the chemical integrity of the gases or liquids being regulated.
