Asiantool H83016 Through Bore Multi Conductor (16.2mm)

An 8-conductor (8-pole) liquid metal rotating connector with a 16.2mm through-bore. It utilizes Non-Mercury (NM) Gallium alloy technology to provide a maintenance-free, electrically “silent” connection for rotating machinery.

Description

The H83016 is engineered for applications requiring multiple signal or power channels on a standard 16mm shaft. Traditional slip rings use carbon brushes that create friction, heat, and electrical “noise”; the H83016 replaces these with a pool of liquid metal, ensuring 100% surface contact at all times.

This results in an ultra-low contact resistance of < 1 mΩ, making it ideal for transmitting sensitive data (like Ethernet or PLC signals) or stable power without the voltage drops or interference associated with mechanical wear.

Asiantool

Asiantool’s slip rings (rotating electrical connectors) utilize special insulation, sealing, and conductive technologies. In the first three to four years of our company’s establishment, we worked in the direction of developing multi conductor models for A8H, A6H, A4H and other relevant models. At the same time, our company’s research and development team has also developed a single conductor model for theelectrical plating of 250A-A1H25S. Now, we have upgraded the product quality and introduced multi conductor models for up to 14 poles of A1430 and single heavy current conductor models up to 7500 A. for mass production.

Features

  • 16.2mm Through-Bore: Specifically sized to slide over standard 16mm industrial shafts, allowing for integrated mechanical and electrical rotation.
  • 8-Pole Configuration: Provides 8 independent channels, perfect for 3-phase power plus auxiliary signals (ground, sensors, or communication).
  • Liquid Metal Technology: Offers zero maintenance and a significantly longer lifespan than brush-type connectors, with no carbon dust or debris.
  • High Signal Integrity: The liquid interface eliminates electrical “chatter,” making it suitable for high-speed data and sensitive analog signals.
  • Eco-Friendly (Non-Mercury): Uses a safe Gallium alloy, ensuring RoHS compliance for food-grade, medical, and high-tech manufacturing.
  • Robust Construction: Designed to handle industrial environments while maintaining precision signal quality.

Applications

  • Heavy-Duty Indexing Tables: Providing power and signal to rotating carousels where the center is occupied by a 16mm drive shaft.
  • Automated Packaging: Powering rotating heat-sealers and multiple sensor banks on high-speed lines.
  • Robotic Pivots: Passing electrical lines through the hollow centers of larger robotic arm joints.
  • Wind Turbines: Transmitting blade pitch control signals and power from the hub to the nacelle.
  • Material Handling: Used in rotating conveyors or sorting systems requiring a central shaft pass-through.
