Asiantool A1M12 Single Conductor

A compact, high-performance 1-conductor non-mercury rotary connector. It is engineered to transfer stable electrical power (up to 120A) through a rotating interface with near-zero electrical noise and minimal resistance.

Description

The A1M12 is designed for industrial environments where space is limited but power requirements are high. By utilizing a liquid metal pool instead of mechanical brushes, it achieves a contact resistance of < 1 mΩ. This ensures 100% surface contact at all times, eliminating the “chatter,” sparking, and voltage drops commonly found in traditional mechanical slip rings.

Asiantool

Asiantool’s slip rings (rotating electrical connectors) utilize special insulation, sealing, and conductive technologies. In the first three to four years of our company’s establishment, we worked in the direction of developing multi conductor models for A8H, A6H, A4H and other relevant models. At the same time, our company’s research and development team has also developed a single conductor model for theelectrical plating of 250A-A1H25S. Now, we have upgraded the product quality and introduced multi conductor models for up to 14 poles of A1430 and single heavy current conductor models up to 7500 A. for mass production.

Features

  • High Current Density: Rated for 120A in a relatively small housing, making it ideal for compact industrial machinery.
  • Liquid Metal Technology: Provides zero maintenance and a vastly superior lifespan compared to brush-type connectors, as there are no physical parts to wear down or replace.
  • High Signal Integrity: The liquid interface is electrically “silent,” ensuring clean power transfer which is critical for sensitive automated systems.
  • Eco-Friendly (Non-Mercury): Uses a safe Gallium alloy, ensuring RoHS compliance for modern manufacturing and clean-room environments.
  • Low & Stable Torque: Requires very little force to rotate (400 gm-cm), reducing the mechanical load on drive motors and preventing premature bearing wear.

Applications

  • Small Electroplating: Delivering DC currents to small-scale rotating plating barrels or laboratory equipment.
  • Welding Turntables: Used in automated welding jigs where the workpiece must rotate while maintaining a high-current ground or power lead.
  • Packaging Machinery: Powering rotating heating elements or high-draw actuators in space-constrained carousels.
  • Rotary Indexing: Providing a reliable power link for rotating workstations in precision assembly lines.
  • Test Rigs: Routing high-current power to spinning components during stress or thermal testing.
