The Jain Technology SODA-v Counter Sniper Detection System was developed to meet the urgent need for rapid situational awareness in complex combat or urban environments. The system employs a high-precision microphone sensor array capable of distinguishing the unique acoustic signature of a gunshot from ambient urban noise, heavy machinery, or weather-related sounds. When a shot is fired, the SODA-v analyzes the acoustic data within milliseconds to determine the azimuth, elevation, and range of the shooter relative to the sensor.
