Description

Siko SG31 Draw-Wire Encoder is built to withstand the rigors of demanding environments such as crane construction, stage construction, and warehousing technology. Its mechanical design features a wire-actuated mechanism specifically tailored for rotary encoder mounting with a 58 mm servo-flange. This allows for seamless integration with various control systems and encoder types.

Enhanced Safety and Durability

A key advantage of the Siko SG31 is its focus on safety and longevity. The unit features a very robust measuring rope made of stainless steel and offers high tightness at the rope outlet to prevent debris ingress. To further protect the internal components, the housing includes lockable ventilation holes that effectively prevent condensation buildup.

For applications requiring functional safety, the SG31 is available as a safety version in combination with the WV58MR rotary encoder. This configuration supports easy parameterization and ensures compliance up to Performance Level PLd, making it an ideal choice for mobile automation and safety-critical machinery.
