Description
Reliable High-Speed Triangulation
The Wenglor PNBC008 Laser Distance Sensor High Precision operates on the principle of laser triangulation. By projecting a red laser beam onto an object and analyzing the reflection through a high-grade CMOS line array, the sensor calculates distance with 16-bit internal resolution. This high-resolution technology ensures that the sensor remains unaffected by surface characteristics, providing stable data even on dark or shiny materials.
Thermal Stability and Network Integration
Performance reliability is a hallmark of the PNBC series. The PNBC008 is engineered with minimized temperature drift, allowing the sensor to provide thermally stable measured values immediately upon power-up without the need for a warm-up phase. For advanced system control, measurement values can be read out simultaneously via the 4…20 mA analog output and the Ethernet TCP/IP interface. This dual-output capability simplifies the monitoring and analysis of high-speed industrial processes.
