The Wenglor P2KH002 Reflex Sensor with Background Suppression operates on the sophisticated principle of angle measurement. Unlike standard sensors that can be tricked by varying light intensities, this sensor calculates the angle of the returning light beam. This technical capability allows it to ignore backgrounds entirely and maintain an identical switching distance even when detecting dark objects against a light-colored backdrop.

Beyond its optical precision, this sensor is a native Industry 4.0 component. The integrated IO-Link 1.1 interface enables seamless digital communication, allowing users to configure parameters remotely and monitor the sensor’s health through real-time condition monitoring.
