The Wenglor P1KE009 Through Beam Sensor functions as a sophisticated receiver unit that prioritizes operational reliability. One of the primary advantages of this model is its exceptionally high light intensity; this provides a large switching reserve that allows the sensor to “see” through airborne contaminants that would typically cause false triggers in lesser sensors.

In line with Industry 4.0 standards, the P1KE009 features IO-Link technology. This enables engineers to perform advanced tasks such as reading out signal values and switching statuses remotely, as well as configuring the sensor to specific logic needs (PNP/NPN or NO/NC). To ensure system integrity, it also supports a test input function on the transmitter side, allowing for a complete functional check of the sensing circuit at any time.
