Description

The Wenglor LD86PCV Retro Reflex Sensor Universal stands out as a versatile light barrier that excels in the most challenging optical environments. By utilizing a retro-reflex principle in combination with a reflector, the sensor monitors light attenuation with extreme precision, allowing it to see transparent materials such as clear glass and sheet products with absolute consistency across a range of up to 4,000 mm.

This sensor is built with advanced single-lens optics, which eliminates the dead zones typically associated with dual-lens systems, ensuring high-accuracy detection even in close proximity to the lens. To maintain signal integrity in environments with reflective backgrounds, it features an integrated polarization filter. Furthermore, the LD86PCV provides advanced digital control through its RS-232 interface, enabling users to configure on/off delays ranging from 0 to 5 seconds. Housed in a durable combination of PBT and V2A stainless steel, it is fully encapsulated and rated at IP67, making it resilient against dust, moisture, and industrial wear.
