Description
The Wenglor KR87PCT2 operates on a sophisticated retro-reflex principle, requiring a reflector to complete its sensing circuit. Unlike standard sensors that may “see through” clear materials, this model is optimized to detect the slight attenuation of light caused by transparent objects. With a generous sensing range of up to 4,000mm, it offers significant flexibility in machine design and layout.
Efficiency is at the core of its design. The sensor features a single-lens optic system to eliminate blind zones and a polarization filter to prevent false trippings from shiny surfaces. Furthermore, the integration of an RS-232 interface allows for advanced parameterization, including the activation of time delays to smooth out signal processing in complex logic sequences. Encased in a durable plastic/stainless steel housing with IP67 protection, it is built to withstand demanding industrial conditions.
