Wenglor CP24MHT80 Laser Distance Sensor High Precision

The Wenglor CP24MHT80 Laser Distance Sensor High Precision is a high-performance triangulation sensor designed for microscopic accuracy in compact industrial environments. With a working range of 20 to 240 mm, this sensor utilizes advanced CMOS line technology to deliver exceptionally stable measured values, regardless of the target object’s material, color, or surface brightness.

Description

High-Resolution CMOS Triangulation

The Wenglor CP24MHT80 Laser Distance Sensor High Precision operates on the principle of angular measurement, projecting a visible red laser spot onto the target. The reflection is captured by a high-resolution CMOS line array, which ensures that even dark or shiny surfaces do not compromise measurement accuracy. This triangulation method, combined with advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP), allows the sensor to maintain a resolution of less than 100 µm throughout its measuring range.

Intelligent Connectivity and Robust Design

To meet the demands of modern smart factories, the CP24MHT80 is equipped with IO-Link V1.1. This allows for effortless remote configuration, continuous diagnostics, and simplified device replacement. In addition to digital communication, the sensor provides a 0…10 V analog signal for real-time distance tracking and a programmable switching output. Encased in a robust IP67-rated housing, this sensor is built to withstand harsh industrial conditions while maintaining consistent performance.
