The ADMAG AXF series of electromagnetic flowmeters are electromagnetic flowmeters that use our original dual-frequency excitation method that is resistant to fluid noise such as slurries. An extended dual-frequency excitation method is available as an additional specification to support even more demanding applications.

Full electrode adhesion diagnosis
The state of insulation adhering to the electrodes of the electromagnetic flowmeter is monitored, and the maintenance time can be determined based on the diagnosis results.
Also, if you use an electromagnetic flow detector with a removable electrode structure, you can remove the electrode and clean it when adhesion occurs.
Change the direction of the wiring port at the site
Since the direction of the wiring port can be freely changed by rotating the conversion unit or terminal box, it is possible to flexibly handle wiring and plumbing work on site. (General type, sanitary type, explosion-proof type)
Abundant display functions
A full-dot matrix LCD is used for the integrated display, so various displays such as 1 to 3 line display and katakana display are possible. In addition, when an alarm occurs, the specific remedy is also displayed.
Easy Setup parameter
Frequently used parameters are extracted and put together in one block. General functionality can only be achieved with the parameters of this block. Also, since it uses an infrared switch, you can set parameters without opening the case cover.
Recruitment between new faces
The wafer type has a surface spacing that is up to 52 mm shorter than before. In addition, the flange type has adopted a surface spacing that complies with ISO standards. Considering compatibility with conventional models (ADMAG, YEWMAG series), replacement compatible products are also available.

An extended dual-frequency excitation method that further enhances the features of Yokogawa Electric’s proprietary dual-frequency excitation can be selected as an option. Stable electromagnetic flow rate measurement is possible even for more severe applications than before, such as high-concentration slurry-mixed fluids and low-concentration fluids.
Achievement of minimum conductivity of 1 μS / cm
The minimum conductivity has been increased to 1 μS / cm. (Depending on the diameter and fluid conditions)
High-speed pulse output
The pulse output can be accelerated to 10000pps (pulses per second), and it can be used for applications such as short-time batches.
