Description
Seametrics MJ Series Multi Jet Meter are designed around the internationally accepted multi-jet principle, known for providing wide-range, simple, and accurate flow measurement, even in low-quality water. Available in both cold and hot water models, these meters utilize an impeller driven by a ring of jets, with a gear train operating the mechanical register totalizer dials. A flexible pulse output option is achieved by replacing one of the pointers with a magnet, which is detected by an external encapsulated sensor, and the pulse rate is field-adjustable. While mechanically identical, the different series are distinguished by their sensor type: MJE/MJHE models use a solid-state Hall-effect sensor that requires power, MJR/MJHR models employ a non-powered two-wire reed switch, and MJT/MJHT models are for mechanical totalizing only with no sensor.
*Note on Nomenclature: Meter names that include “H” are hot water models. Without the “H” = cold water models
