Description
Maeda Koki MKC type WATER SIGNAL – Flow Indicator is engineered to provide a clear, direct reading of fluid movement. Operating on the variable area principle, the device uses a float ball within a transparent tapered pipe. As water flows through the unit, the ball rises; when it aligns with the fixed red indication line, the operator can visually confirm that the approximate required flow quantity has been reached.
A key advantage of the MKC series is the Integrated Flow Adjustment Valve. Unlike simple sight glasses that only show movement, the MKC type includes a miniature valve mechanism. This allows users to throttle the flow directly at the indicator, ensuring precise control over the water volume entering the equipment. This dual-function design simplifies piping layouts by reducing the number of required fittings and valves, making it a cost-effective choice for facility management.
