The Kofloc Model RK1650 is designed for users who require more than just a basic indicator. It features a precision-tapered Pyrex glass tube and a uniquely designed float that ensures a stable reading even when measuring low-viscosity liquids or light gases. The standout feature of the RK1650 is the Integrated Precision Needle Valve. Most flowmeters use a rotating needle that “grinds” against the valve seat, eventually leading to leakage and drift. The RK1650 utilizes a non-rotating mechanism where the needle moves linearly. This preserves the seat’s shape and ensures that the flow setting remains locked over time. The body is standardly made of SUS316 Stainless Steel, providing a high level of cleanliness and corrosion resistance for analytical and semiconductor-grade applications.
