Gastec P-136-H Permeation Tube Methyl Bromide

A high-precision Methyl Bromide permeation tube used for generating known gas concentrations. It is designed for use with the Gastec PD-2 Gas Permeation Device or similar dynamic gas calibration systems.

Description

The P-136-H tube contains liquefied Methyl Bromide. When maintained at a constant temperature, the gas permeates through the tube’s walls at a predictable, repeatable rate. By controlling the flow of a diluent gas (usually dry air or nitrogen) over the tube, technicians can create highly accurate calibration standards in the parts per million (ppm) or parts per billion (ppb) range.
