Description
The O2-206G operates on the galvanic cell principle, functioning as a self-powered electrochemical battery. Oxygen diffuses through a high-selectivity membrane and is reduced at the cathode, generating a voltage directly proportional to the oxygen concentration (0.0–25.0%).
Due to its ultra-small mass and optimized membrane, the O2-206G is exceptionally responsive to rapid changes in oxygen levels. This makes it ideal for the GOT-110A-2, which is frequently used for personal safety and research applications where immediate detection of oxygen deficiency is critical.
Applications
Precision Module Integration: The O2-206G is applied by seating it into the internal sensor receptacle of the GOT-110A-2 monitor.
Installation: Carefully align the sensor pins with the socket on the device’s PCB and press firmly to ensure a sealed connection. Ensure the dust filter is in place.
Thermal Equilibrium: While the sensor works instantly, allow the unit to sit in the target environment for 3 to 5 minutes after installation to ensure the electrolyte reaches the ambient temperature.
21% Air Calibration: Perform a “One-Touch” or manual air calibration in a clean, fresh-air environment (20.9 O_2). The digital display will synchronize with the sensor’s current voltage output.
Maintenance: Check the calibration before each use. If the monitor triggers a “Sensor Error” or cannot be adjusted to read 20.9% in fresh air, the internal chemical capacity is exhausted and it must be replaced.
