Description

The 8AM-NRV-42A is engineered for “inching” control and smooth low-speed operation. By utilizing 8 vanes instead of the standard 4, the motor ensures that air pressure is more consistently distributed against the rotor, providing superior starting torque and minimizing vibration.

Like all Gast air motors, it is inherently Explosion Proof. The expansion of compressed air through the motor naturally cools the cast-iron housing, allowing it to operate in ambient temperatures up to 121°C (250°F) where electric motors would overheat or fail.
