Description

The 8AM-NRV-32A is the “smooth-running” specialist of the 8AM NEMA-mount family. The 8-vane configuration is its defining feature; by doubling the number of vanes, the motor minimizes the “pulsing” effect common in pneumatic motors. This results in superior starting torque and more consistent power delivery, especially when operating at the lower end of its RPM range.

Like other Gast air motors, it is intrinsically safe for hazardous zones. The expanding exhaust air naturally cools the cast-iron housing, making it ideal for use in ambient temperatures up to 120°C (248°F).
