Description

The 6AM-NRV-22A is a 4-vane model, which is the standard configuration for high-speed efficiency and balanced performance. Because it is powered by compressed air rather than electricity, it is inherently ATEX and CE certified for use in hazardous locations (Group II, Cat 2), as it cannot produce an electrical spark.

A major advantage of this motor is its “self-cooling” nature. As compressed air expands through the motor to create motion, it absorbs heat. This allows the 6AM-NRV-22A to operate in ambient temperatures as high as 120°C (248°F), far exceeding the limits of standard electric motor insulation.
