Gast 6AM-NRV-11A Air Motor

Description

The 6AM-NRV-11A is the “smooth-running” specialist of the 6AM NEMA-mount family. By doubling the number of vanes from four to eight, the motor minimizes the “pulsing” effect common in pneumatic motors. This results in more consistent power delivery and higher starting torque, which is critical when the motor must begin rotating under a heavy load or at low RPM.

Like all Gast air motors, it is inherently Explosion Proof. The expansion of compressed air through the motor naturally cools the cast-iron housing, allowing it to operate in ambient temperatures up to 121°C (250°F) where electric motor insulation would fail.
