Description

The 6AM-FRV-5A utilizes a standard 4-vane configuration, optimized for high-speed efficiency and reliable start-ups. Because it is powered entirely by compressed air, it is inherently ATEX and CE certified for use in explosive atmospheres (Group II, Cat 2), as it cannot produce an electrical spark.

A major advantage of this motor is its “self-cooling” nature. As compressed air expands through the motor to create motion, it absorbs heat. This allows the 6AM-FRV-5A to operate in ambient temperatures as high as 121°C (250°F), far exceeding the limits of standard electric motor insulation.
