Description

The 6AM-ARV-55 is the metric-spec variant of the 6AM family, utilizing 1/2″ BSP ports and a 19 mm keyed shaft. The 4-vane design is the standard for high-speed efficiency and reliable operation. Because it is powered by compressed air, it is inherently ATEX and CE certified for use in explosive atmospheres (Group II, Cat 2), as it generates no electrical sparks.

A unique benefit of this pneumatic motor is its ability to operate in high-ambient temperatures (up to 121°C / 250°F). As the compressed air expands through the motor, it absorbs heat, keeping the cast-iron housing cool even under heavy continuous loads.
