Gast 6AM-ARV-54 Air Motor

Description

The 6AM-ARV-54 is the 8-vane metric-spec variant of the 6AM family. By doubling the number of vanes from the standard four to eight, this motor minimizes the “pulsing” effect common in pneumatic motors. This results in superior starting torque and more consistent power delivery, which is critical when the motor must begin rotating under a heavy load or at very low RPM.

Because it is powered by compressed air, it is inherently ATEX and CE certified for use in explosive atmospheres (Group II, Cat 2). The expansion of air through the motor naturally cools the cast-iron housing, allowing it to operate in ambient temperatures up to 121°C (250°F).
