Description

The 4AM-NRV-22B uses the standard 4-vane configuration, optimized for efficient air consumption and high-speed stability. Because it is powered entirely by compressed air, it is ATEX and CE certified for hazardous locations (Group II, Cat 2).

A major technical advantage of this motor is its thermal resilience. As compressed air expands through the motor to create rotation, it absorbs heat, effectively cooling the unit. This allows it to operate in ambient temperatures up to 121°C (250°F), which would cause an electric motor to fail.
