Description

The 4AM-ARV-120 is the metric-spec variant of the 4AM family, utilizing 1/8″ BSP ports and a 14 mm keyed shaft. The 4-vane design is the standard for high-speed efficiency and reliable operation. Because it is powered by compressed air, it is inherently ATEX and CE certified for use in explosive atmospheres (Group II, Cat 2), as it generates no electrical sparks.

A primary advantage of this motor is its “self-cooling” nature. As compressed air expands through the motor to create motion, it absorbs heat. This allows the 4AM-ARV-120 to operate in ambient temperatures as high as 121°C (250°F), far exceeding the limits of standard electric motor insulation.
