Description

The 2AM-NRV-89 utilizes a 4-vane configuration, optimized for high-speed efficiency and reliable start-ups. Because it operates entirely on compressed air, it is inherently ATEX and CE certified for hazardous locations (Group II, Cat 2), making it safe for environments where electrical sparks could cause explosions.

A standout feature of this motor is its “self-cooling” capability. As compressed air expands through the motor, it absorbs heat, allowing the unit to run in ambient temperatures up to 121°C (250°F). This makes it an excellent choice for high-heat industrial zones where electric motor insulation would fail.
