Description

The 2AM-ARV-93 is the metric-spec variant of the 2AM family, utilizing 1/8″ BSP ports and an 11 mm keyed shaft. The 4-vane design is engineered for high-speed efficiency and reliable start-ups. Because it is powered entirely by compressed air, it is inherently ATEX and CE certified for use in explosive atmospheres (Group II, Cat 2), as it generates no electrical sparks.

A primary advantage of this motor is its thermal resilience. As compressed air expands through the motor to create rotation, it absorbs heat. This allow the 2AM-ARV-93 to operate in ambient temperatures up to 121°C (250°F), far exceeding the limits of standard electric motor insulation.
