Gast 2AM-ARV-92 Air Motor

Description

The 2AM-ARV-92 is the “smooth-running” specialist of the 2AM metric family. By doubling the number of vanes from four to eight, the motor minimizes the “pulsing” effect (torque ripple) common in pneumatic motors. This results in more consistent power delivery and higher starting torque, which is critical when the motor must begin rotating under a heavy load or at very low RPM.

Like all Gast air motors, it is inherently Explosion Proof and ATEX certified. The expansion of compressed air through the motor naturally cools the cast-iron housing, allowing it to operate in ambient temperatures up to 121°C (250°F) where electric motor insulation would fail.
