Gast 1UP-NCC-1A Air Motor Efficient Superior Pneumatic Power

Gast 1UP-NCC-1A Air Motora clockwise-rotation, 0.45 HP (0.33 kW) rotary vane air motor featuring a 4-vane design and a standard Hub Mount. It is an intrinsically safe, high-speed power source optimized for North American OEM machinery and specialized laboratory equipment where reversal is not required.

Description

Description

Gast 1UP-NCC-1A Air Motor is built for high-RPM tasks (up to 6,000 RPM). By utilizing a single-direction (Non-reversible) internal porting design, it often achieves slightly better air consumption metrics and simplified plumbing compared to reversible models. Because it is powered entirely by compressed air, it is inherently ATEX and CE certified for hazardous locations (Group II, Cat 2), as it cannot produce an electrical spark.

A major technical advantage of the 1UP series is its thermal profile. As compressed air expands through the motor to create motion, it naturally absorbs heat, keeping the cast-iron housing cool to the touch even in ambient temperatures up to 121°C (250°F).

Why Gast 1UP Series is the Best Investment

Investing in the Gast 1UP-NCC-1A Air Motor is an efficient decision for any facility looking to reduce downtime and improve worker safety. In hazardous environments, the most superior way to mitigate risk is to remove electrical ignition sources entirely. The Gast 1UP-NCC-1A Air Motor provides a “fit and forget” solution that is virtually impervious to the dust, humidity, and heat that typically shorten the life of electric drives.

The efficient synergy between its high-torque capability and its lightweight (3 lbs) design ensures your machinery remains agile and powerful. Backed by Gast’s global reputation for pneumatic innovation, the Gast 1UP-NCC-1A Air Motor is built to provide years of superior service. When your operation demands efficient power and the highest tier of rotary vane technology, the 1UP-NCC-1A series is the most dependable solution available.
