Fluidwell F118 Flow Rate Totalizer | Intrinsically Safe

The Fluidwell F118 Safe area / Intrinsically safe – Flow rate Totalizer is a high-precision instrument designed for applications requiring accurate linearization of flowmeter signals. This versatile unit offers continuous flow rate monitoring with advanced alarm functionalities, including high and low flow rate alarm values and up to three alarm outputs.

Description

The Fluidwell F118 Safe area / Intrinsically safe – Flow rate Totalizer stands out for its ability to precisely linearize signals from mechanic flowmeters. While standard indicators rely on an average K-Factor, the F118 allows for ten distinct linearization points to be entered with their specific frequencies or values. The unit automatically interpolates between these points, which greatly enhances accuracy across any flow range, including very low-frequency applications.

Durability is a core feature, with the unit housed in a robust Aluminum or Stainless Steel 316L enclosure rated IP65, IP67, and NEMA Type 4X. The construction is so rugged that a truck can stand on it without compromising the internal electronics. For operation in hazardous zones, intrinsically safe versions are available with ATEX and IECEx approvals for gas and dust applications. All configuration settings and running totals are safely backed up in EEPROM memory, ensuring data integrity during power interruptions.
