Fatek-FBs-8Y Expansion Modules – 8 Digital Outputs

Scale your automation logic efficiently with the Fatek-FBs-8Y Expansion Modules, specifically engineered to increase the output capacity of your Fatek FBs Series PLC. This unit connects seamlessly to the right side of your main controller, providing 8 additional Digital Output points without the need for a full CPU upgrade.

Description

Fatek-FBs-8Y Expansion Modules are a critical component for growing industrial systems. As automation processes evolve, the need to control more external devices—such as solenoid valves, magnetic contactors, and warning lights—often outpaces the capacity of the original PLC Main Unit. The FBs-8Y solves this challenge instantly.

Seamless System Integration Designed for the FBs Series ecosystem, this module utilizes a high-density, reliable System on Chip (SoC) architecture. It requires no complex configuration; simply snap the module onto the DIN rail and connect the flat cable to the expansion header of the main unit or the previous expansion module. The PLC CPU automatically addresses the new outputs, allowing for immediate programming and control.

Optimized Output Selection To meet diverse engineering requirements, the FBs-8Y is available in different output configurations:

  • Relay Output (R): Best suited for switching AC/DC loads up to 2A, such as motors, heaters, or heavy-duty contactors.
  • Transistor Output (T/J): Designed for high-speed DC switching (Sink or Source) with a long operational lifespan, perfect for rapid-cycle applications like stepping motor pulses or fast-acting solenoids.

Reliability and Maintenance Industrial environments demand durability. The FBs-8Y features individual LED status indicators for each of the 8 output points, enabling engineers to visually verify signal status without using a multimeter. This significantly reduces downtime during commissioning and troubleshooting.
