Advanced Functionality for Complex Tasks Unlike basic PLCs, the FBs-24MC is equipped to handle more than just simple relay logic. The inclusion of a Real-Time Clock (RTC) enables the system to manage time-critical processes, such as scheduled pump sequencing, shift data logging, or automated lighting control. Furthermore, the unit supports high-speed counters (HSC), making it capable of interfacing with encoders for precise positioning or flow metering applications.
Simplified Maintenance and Wiring Designed with the end-user in mind, the FBs-24MC features 7.62mm detachable terminal blocks. This design consideration allows maintenance teams to replace a unit in minutes by simply unplugging the wired terminals, rather than unscrewing and re-terminating every single connection. This feature alone significantly reduces Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) in critical production lines.
Flexible Expansion The FBs-24MC is built to grow with your needs. It comes standard with one RS-232 communication port (Port 0) for programming and HMI connectivity. It is also fully expandable, allowing engineers to add extra communication ports (RS-485, Ethernet), analog I/O modules, or temperature sensors via the right-side expansion interface.
