Specifically designed for Zone 0 and Zone 1 (Gas) and Zone 20 and 21 (Dust), this sensor ensures that process monitoring does not introduce an ignition source into the atmosphere. Operating on the thermodynamic principle, the ST 106 KH uses a solid-state probe to detect flow velocity. Because there are no moving parts, the risk of mechanical friction, sparks, or static discharge—common failure points in traditional paddle-flow switches—is eliminated.
