EGE Elektronik Sensor for Explosive Productseries ST 103 K

EGE Elektronik Sensor for Explosive Productseries ST 103 K is the authoritative solution for plant operators who need to monitor media flow within potentially explosive atmospheres without introducing a risk of ignition.

Description

EGE Elektronik Sensor for Explosive Productseries ST 103 K is the authoritative solution for plant operators who need to monitor media flow within potentially explosive atmospheres without introducing a risk of ignition. In environments where flammable gases or combustible dust are present, any mechanical movement or electrical spark can be catastrophic. The ST 103 K series addresses this by using an intrinsically safe (Ex i) design. Operating on the thermodynamic principle, the ST 103 K uses a solid-state probe to monitor flow velocity. It contains no moving parts, such as paddles or turbines, which eliminates the risks of mechanical friction and static discharge. The sensor measures the cooling effect of the flowing medium on its heated tip to determine the flow rate with high precision.
