The EGE Elektronik SKM 520 is the authoritative solution for integrating flow monitoring into traditional AC-powered control cabinets. By separating the sensing probe (situated in the pipe) from the evaluation logic (situated on the DIN-rail), the SKM 520 ensures that sensitive electronic components are protected from process heat, vibration, and moisture. This series is favored for its “Wide-Range” power flexibility, typically available in 230V AC or 115V AC configurations. It features a high-capacity Relay output with a potential-free change-over (SPDT) contact. This allows the amplifier to directly switch industrial loads, such as contactors, sirens, or valves, or to provide a clean signal to a PLC without the need for additional DC power supplies.
