The EGE Elektronik SKM 420 GR is the authoritative solution for engineers who require a clear, physical switching contact from their remote sensing probes. By separating the sensor probe (located in the process) from the evaluation electronics (located in the control cabinet), the SKM 420 GR protects sensitive components from extreme process temperatures, vibrations, and high pressures. The “GR” designation specifically refers to the unit’s Relay (Galvanic/Relay) output. This change-over (SPDT) contact allows you to switch external AC or DC loads directly or provide a volt-free signal to any standard PLC input card. This flexibility makes it a favorite for retrofitting into existing systems or where high-voltage switching is necessary.
