Description

The Kofloc Model 6600 operates using a sensitive diaphragm mechanism that balances spring force against gas pressure. This design allows the valve to respond instantaneously to any change in downstream demand or upstream supply. One of the key advantages of the 6600 series is its low “hysteresis” and excellent “repeatability.” Once the desired pressure is set using the smooth adjustment knob, the valve holds that setpoint with minimal drift. The wetted parts are meticulously cleaned and assembled to ensure compatibility with high-purity gases. It is commonly used as a “secondary regulator” to provide a fine-tuned, stable pressure to flowmeters (like the RK1200 series) to ensure their readings remain accurate and do not bounce due to line pressure pulses.
