Description

The 4AM-NRV-54A is the “gold standard” for pneumatic drives in the 1–2 HP range. Because it is powered entirely by compressed air, it is ATEX and CE certified for hazardous locations (Group II, Cat 2), making it the primary choice for environments with flammable vapors, such as paint kitchens and chemical refineries.

A key technical advantage is its thermal resilience. As compressed air expands through the motor, it absorbs heat, allowing the unit to remain cool even in ambient temperatures up to 121°C (250°F). This “self-cooling” effect prevents the burnout issues common with electric motors in high-heat zones.
